I found this video on Jeff’s blog and found it to be really inspiring. It is especially relevant since I was just reading about the Flip Mino HD camera he used to shoot it with.
He proves you can do a lot with a little, he cleverly glued a wide angle lens to his Mino camera, and still create something meaningful and beautiful.
Pugapalooza took place this past weekend (2006-10-07) and it was a great success! We raised over $3,500 for Pittsburgh area animal shelters. Go to the website to download some desktops and learn more about the event.
I borrowed Jeff’s Nikon D50 for the weekend and I have grown to love it. Below are a few of my favorite photos from the weekend.
Penelope chewing her kong bone

I have been looking for a nice (easy?) way to display my photography, whether it is art or my latest trip. After installing a number of products including Gallery I decided to stick with Flickr and use FAlbum to get the photos into my website template. While I am still working out the design, so far it is working out pretty well.
We took Penelope to the August Pittsburgh Pug Meetup at the Frick Park O.L.E.A. Saturday morning. Only two other pugs came, Baxter and Liu Liu, but they all played and had a great time. Penelope continued her trend of wanting to play with the bigger dogs rather than the pugs her size, and Liu Liu was beating up on Baxter pretty good. Good times were had by all the pugs and their owners.

Monica, Penelope and I went to Erie to see my mom and decided to hit the beach while we were there. We bought Pen a life vest so she wouldn’t sink which she seemed to take to pretty well. The water had more chop than we expected so we kept her swimming to a minimum.
